Recent Purchases: BB Cream, Lipgloss, New Look & American Apparel Leggings Dupes!Monday, 25 June 2012 15:18
I have a bit of a collective haul for you today, as I went shopping with my best friends last weekend and I also bought two make-up bits this week. I'll try and keep it short and sweet! I bought things from New Look, Miss Selfridge and Superdrug...
The first thing was this simple oversized cropped t-shirt from New Look (Normally £4.99 but I got it with the top below in the 2 for £6 deal!). I got it in a size up as I prefer this style of top to be baggy on me and not too cropped. I normally wear this kind of thing with a cami underneath, as the tummy only comes out in exreme sunshine!
The two images above show the front (top) and back (bottom) of the other top I bought from New Look in the 2 for £6 offer. It's a mint green thin jersey oversized t-shirt with an open back, which looks great with leggings. Again, I wear a cami under this as I don't want my back on full show!
The leggings in the above image are perhaps my most exciting purchase. I've been eyeing up the American Apparel Shiny Nylon Tricot Leggings for ages but was skeptical about paying £30 for a pair of leggings. I saw these in Miss Selfridge for a mere £14 and they are almost identical to the black American Apparel ones! The only difference is that they are perhaps very slightly less shiny, but I think I like them better for this. They are so flattering and have become one of my favourite clothing items! You can buy them online here.
Finally, I bought a few things from Superdrug. I have wanted a BB cream for ages and after trawling through countless reviews online, I settled on the original Garnier BB Cream in 'Light'. I won't go into too much detail about it now as I think I will write an in depth review of it on here. However, I can tell you that I love it already! It is currently on offer in Superdrug for £7.49 and it is usually £9.99, so get out and buy it if you have been waiting for it to reduce in price!
Also from Superdrug is the Barry M Lipgloss in 'Coral'. This is another thing raved about in the blogging world and I had to try it, as when I smelt it I felt in complete love with it. It smells really strongly of fruit salad sweets to me and is a gorgeous colour that goes on quite sheer. It isn't sticky either which is great! This was just over £4, though I can't remember it exactly and I can't find it online.
Anyway, there you have it! Have you bought anything exciting recently? :)
