Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Review: 'Candy Apple'
Monday, 6 August 2012 17:34This is my last review in my Lip Butter series for the moment, as it is the last of the 4 shades I own. I am not going to talk about the formula/wear or anything like that as I can tell you I found it exactly the same as 'Sweet Tart' in this respect, which I reviewed here so check that out for more info; I don't want to bore you here by repeating myself! I can safely say that it is a fantastic all-rounder however: long lasting, pigmented, glossy, gorgeous colour... the list of positives is endless.
This is another triumph from Revlon and a new staple in my lipstick collection! The Colorburst Lip Butters are £7.99 from Boots or Superdrug, but keep an eye out for offers as they often come around.

Beautiful color! Do you have the shade Red Velvet in the UK? It's a darker red and I bought it because I thought it would work better with my skin tone than Candy Apple. It's worth checking out if it's available to you. :)
ReplyDeleteHello! No we don't have it here in the UK :( I saw swatches of that online and it looks lovely! Have you blogged a post on it? :)xxx
DeleteNot yet, I was debating whether or not to do a review on my lip butters because it seems like everyone else already has, lol. But since you're interested, maybe I will do a review and swatch for all of them. :)
DeleteAhh I thought the same with mine, but I loved them so much I couldn't resist haha! :) Oh yes I would love to see the shades you have, particularly the ones we don't have over here! You don't have to of course though haha :) xxx
DeleteOh, I'd love to! I love my lip butters too, it would be fun to do a review. :) I'll try to get it up in a couple of days, if you like I can send you the link once it's posted.
DeleteOh yes I would like that, thank you!xxx
DeleteThis is a lovely shade. Like you said the red is sheer enough to be wearable for daytime but it still makes a change from the nudes and pale pinks.
ReplyDeleteI dont own any lip butters as I bought into the Rouge Caresse hype! xx

DeleteVery pretty! I have been wanting to try it out, but I wasn't sure if it would be too bright for my skin tone.
