MUA Nail Constellations in 'Scorpio'
Tuesday, 30 October 2012 11:00
I used Rimmel's 60 Second Nail Polish in 'Green with Envy' as my main nail colour and then I used the MUA Nail Constellations on my accent nail. I was worried that the beads were going to be super hard to apply, but I was actually pleasantly surprised at how easy it was! I used the applicator attached to the bottle to drop them onto the nail, then pressed the beads down a little to make sure they stuck properly. I used a clear top coat as the adhesive layer for the beads, as I thought applying them straight onto the nail colour could get messy, which really paid off. I know there are a few little gaps between the beads, but I was quite proud for a first attempt!
The MUA Nail Constellations are £3 a bottle from Superdrug or from www.muastore.co.uk.
What do you think?

Neither does my local one! I happened to be in a little town that is less busy over the weekend and they had them! haha :) xx
DeleteMy Superdrug never has these in stock either, your nails look fab1
ReplyDeleteKeep looking, I have seen them a few times in the past week! :) Thank you! xxx
DeleteI was admiring these, has i do with all make up everytime i go into superdrug. I felt i couldn't purchase because of the names being horoscope. Are they ever going to bring out an aries? But they look quite scary to apply and i was wondering whether they worked well on the nails. They defiantly remind me of hundreds and thousands lol. It works really well on your nail and i can't help but say once again how completely and utterly amazing the rimmel polish is. I love this colour. xx
ReplyDeleteI don't know if they will bring out more, I hope they do! They have my star sign which is Leo, but I preferred the colours in Scorpio haha :) Yeah I love Rimmel polish too!xxx
DeleteOoh these look amazing Becky! I always thought they'd be super difficult too!

Thank you! I thought they would be too but I was pleasantly surprised :) The trick is to use a clear top coat to stick them on I found, and use a bowl to catch the spare beads!xxx

DeleteAbsolutely love this! I have wanted to try a caviar manicure for ages, but didn't want to want to fork out for a Ciate one. I saw the MUA ones, and there's a good range of colours, for a decent price, so considering getting one of those. x
ReplyDeleteWhy not leave me a comment, I'll make sure I reply! :)
