Nail of the Day and Mini Review: imPRESS Nails
Sunday 30 December 2012 20:46
I have a slightly different nail of the day for you today- this time I am going to do a mini review of these imPRESS stick on manicure that I received for free in a goody bag at the LBD launch event I blogged about here a few months ago. The design we were given in our goody bags was 'Working Girl', which is a lovely black/glitter silver crackle design that can be bought from Boots for £8.99.
I've only ever used stick on nails once before and they were ones that you had to stick on with glue and they fell off after an hour- so I was unsure whether these would work for me, but saved them to try for a special occasion just in case!
I am so glad I did as I am incredibly impressed (no pun intended!) with them. To apply them you simply peel off a protective plastic layer and press them onto your bare nails, after cleaning them with the little wet cloth provided in the pack. It took me just 5 minutes to apply all 10 nails and there were a good variety of nail sizes included to fit each nail. They claim to last 7 days and I believe them! I had to take them off this morning as I couldn't put my contact lenses in, but they had lasted 5 days and would easily have lasted another few days had I not had to remove them myself.
They come in so many gorgeous designs and I would not hesitate to pay £8.99 for more, especially if I had a special occasion to get ready for!
What do you think? Have you tried imPRESS nails?

Very pretty nails. I'm not usually a fan of crackle polish, but these look cute :)

I haven't tried Impress nails before but I love how these look so I may have to give them a try! Especially as I'm so bad at doing my own nails, haha. x

Hi I got your link from the #bbloggers twitter chat :)
ReplyDeleteI've always been really sceptical about these nails as they are just stick on but it seems like they are much better quality than I expected. I was never keen on spending almost £10 when they could quite possibly fall off in a few hours but your review has now made me keen to try them :)

These look really good. I have some Impress Nails in a brown/red colour to try, but haven't got around to trying them yet as never worn falsies before. But I have heard really good things about Impress and that they are easy to get off too.
ReplyDeleteI got your link from #bbloggers too!

These look amazing, I love the crackle design. I'm terrible at any kind of nail art so something like this would be perfect for me! xx
