January Favourites
Monday, 4 February 2013 17:31
I have only just realised that I never posted my December favourites, what a dope! But I am back today with my January Favourites post, which I hope you all enjoy! I will talk about each product from left to right as you see it in the photo:
Soap and Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream- I am not blessed in the heel department; they are often sore and cracked (too much information?!) and can be a real pain. I received this cream in the S&G 'Best of All' set for Christmas and have been loving it this month. It smells lovely: quite floral with a minty hint, the packaging is gorgeous as with all S&G products and it really helps sooth and repair my nasty heels. I wear it to bed with cotton socks and it makes such a difference by the morning.
Models Own Mirrorball Collection in 'Dancing Queen'- It is no secret to the blogging world just how fabulous this collection is! This shade has gorgeous flecks of gold, blue and green glitter that really do shine like a disco ball. I teamed it with a black base polish this month and the two went so well together. I actually posted this combo in a nail of the day post which you can see here.
Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Cleansing Milk- This is another gem I received in the 'Best of All' gift set and a product I had actually wanted to try for months after hearing Miss Budget Beauty rave about it on her blog and YouTube channel. The best thing about it for me is the heavenly smell! It smells like peach yogurt to me- good enough to eat! It leaves my skin feeling so soft and has helped to get rid of my dry patches which often like to make an appearance on my face. Also, it does a brilliant job of removing any make-up.
Vaseline 'Rosy Lips' Lip Balm- I was lucky enough to receive a set of 3 Vaseline lip balms for Christmas and this was a part of the set. I had previously never used Vaseline lip balms as I was happy with my Cherry Carmex (which I do still love!) but I am so glad I tried this. It instantly soothes and moisturises and leaves a slight shimmer, which is gorgeous for days when you perhaps don't want to wear lipstick or gloss.
Avon Super Shock Mascara- Everything about this mascara is perfect; is lengthens, volumises and doesn't clump or flake away. This was another Christmas present- there is a pattern emerging!
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen- This combines everything I would want in an eyeliner: it gives a clean and highly pigmented smooth line, but allows you to control application like you would a pencil liner. It also stays put all day and doesn't smudge. Also, I have been using it for a while now with no sign of it running out which is a huge plus!
So there you have it- My January favourites. What do you think? What have you been loving this month?
