Updated Make-up StorageThursday, 14 February 2013 11:01
The last time I blogged a post about my make-up and cosmetics storage was in October, which I know isn't very long ago, but I recently updated it so that it was a little more organised and easier for me to find things within. I won't talk about the specific products I own, but I will label each drawer/box so you know what each picture is showing!
Every part of my make-up storage is from Ikea. The products used are:
- Helmer Drawers (Cream)- £25
- Antonius Drawer Inserts- £1.70 each
- Brush Pot- Around £3 I think! I can't find a link to it, but I found it near the bathroom accessories section of Ikea.
- Set of 3 Baskets (Multi-colour Flowers and Leaves)- I can't find their exact link, but click here for something really similar.
I actually own two sets of Helmer drawers now, as I couldn't fit everything in one set (eek). I will only show you the one set that I use for the most interesting things, like make-up and nail polish- as the other set I use for slightly more boring products! Here we go:
Make-up Brush Storage
Eyeshadow Palette Storage
Helmer Storage Drawers, with baskets of most reached for products on top
Nail Polish Drawer
Eyes Drawer- Compartments for Eyeshadows, Eyeliners, Mascaras, Primers/Potted Eyeliners and random bits of kit
Lips Drawer- Compartments for Lip Gloss, Lipsticks, Stains/Lip Creams, Lip Balms and random samples
Face Drawer- Compartments for Contact Lenses, Foundations/Concealer, Blushes, Powder and Face Creams
Nail Care Drawer- Compartments for Nail Wraps, Nail Wheels and different nail related bits
Random Body Drawer- Full of body sprays and creams!
So there you have it! My updated make-up storage. What do you think? Have you got any tips for improvement for me?
