2015 Holy Grail Make-up Products

It felt like 2015 flew by! I wanted to talk to you about my favourite make-up products from throughout my year. I found it quite hard to narrow it down to one or two products from each category as there were so many new and amazing discoveries for me last year. I found myself trying out more high end make-up products, many of which I fell in love with. However, there are certain high street make-up products I just can't live without. Here is my 'dessert island' list of holy grail make-up products for 2015:

Eyes:

Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner- I think I first bought this eyeliner on my sister's recommendation around 7 or 8 years ago, It is a liquid liner with a thin brush tip and it gives a perfect opaque line. I use this almost every single day and I've lost count of how many times I've repurchased this over the years. I've tried other liquid liners but I always come back to this one! It is so reasonably priced too at just £2.99.

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara- This mascara was a new find for me this year. It gives the longest, thickest lashes of all high street mascaras I have tried. The formula is quite wet, but coupled with the thick brush I find it separates and thickens my lashes with ease and I reach for it every day.

Benefit Gimme Brow in 'Medium/Deep'- I work for Boots at their Head Office and I found this in the staff shop for a bargain price one day and so I decided to give it a go. It's a great brow gel, it keeps my brows in shape but also gives the illusion of thicker brows. I love how natural the finish is with this product, which is why I would repurchase it again and again, despite the hefty price tag!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette- This product was a Christmas presents from my parents last year, I was very lucky! Almost every eye shadow look I have created in the last year has been created using this amazing palette. It covers a huge range of neutral shades, from highlight colours to the deepest black. Not only do I use this palette to create natural everyday looks, but I've also used it to create heavier smoky eyes for nights out. If this was the only palette I owned I would be happy, i'd definite recommend it to anybody.

Face:

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10 in '1N2 Ecru'- This foundation was another bargain I found at work and couldn't resist. I'd heard great things about it and can safely say it is totally worth the hype! It is brilliant at evening out my skin tone and hiding blemishes. I find it is particularly good at hiding areas of redness. It gives a great matte finish that lasts a long time, particularly under a good powder.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in '1 Fair'- This is another bargain product from Collection. It is extremely well loved in the blogosphere so I won't go into too much detail- but the staying power, finish and coverage of this concealer are unrivaled. What's not to love?

Benefit 'Rockateur' Blush Box- This was another very generous Christmas present from a while ago! It is so easy to apply this brush, however heavy-handed you are when applying it. It gives a kind of bronzed glow that is perfect for both everyday and more special make-up looks.

Lips:

Clinque Chubby Sticks for Lips- I have so many of these now, I think it is safe to say I have an addiction! There are three formulas; the original, Intense and Baby Tint formulas. All three of them apply so smoothly and they are all hydrating, not at all drying. The crayon format makes them easy to apply with precision. I love the Intense Chubby Sticks for more dramatic make-up looks, but the original and Baby Tint Chubby Sticks are just perfect for everyday. I wear them almost every day for work. If anyone would like individual reviews I'd be happy to do this! I much prefer them to the cheaper alternatives from Revlon etc. A real all-rounder!

Charlotte Tilberry Matte Revolution Lipstick in 'Love Liberty'- This was perhaps my most decadent make-up purchase of 2015! At £23, I wanted this lipstick to be the best one I own. I was definitely not disappointed! The packaging alone is so special, it has a certain weight to it that oozes luxury. The lipstick glides on with a flawless finish and lasts so long, even when eating and drinking (especially when topped with Lipcote!). This particular shade is a gorgeous dramatic plum colour. It has definitely made me crave more of the Matte Revolution Lipsticks!

I think that's it! I hope you enjoyed reading and that you like the products I have chosen. If you'd like to see any of the products in more detail please let me know and I'd be more than happy to write some more reviews.

What have you been loving for 2015? Have you made any new discoveries you now couldn't live without?
