January Beauty FavouritesTuesday, 2 February 2016 12:00
It has been a long time since I posted my monthly favourites! January was definitely a month of discoveries and rediscoveries for me. I'll jump straight into my favourite products for the month:
Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture Root Lift Spray- £3.14 (Sale Price at Boots)- I'm not usually a big hair product lover, but I'd heard great things about this spray and I'm so glad I tried it! You can use it on wet or dry hair and it really adds lift to your roots, without weighing your hair down. It also smells heavenly! Watch this space for a full review.
Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm in 'Amp'd Up Apple'- £19- I was lucky enough to receive this in the 'Whole Lotta Chubby' gift set for Christmas. I love the Chubby Sticks for lips and was excited to try this blush as a result. I cannot speak highly enough of it! It is so easy to apply and the colour is really blendable, so it makes it hard to apply too much. This shade in particular has a gorgeous warm glow to it, I just can't get enough of it.
Lancome Juicy Tube in 'Caramel Gospel'- £17- The best thing about this product is the smell, it is absolutely divine! It smells and tastes just like caramel, as the name suggests. The gloss isn't sticky in the slightest and it give a gorgeous sheer wash of colour.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation in 'Intensity 2.0'- £29.50- I reviewed this on my blog this week along with its sister product, Double Wear, here. It has a gorgeous light texture and coverage, perfect for every day.
MAC Lipstick in 'Mehr'- £15.50- A gorgeous matte neutral pink lipstick that I've been reaching for since I bought it a couple of weeks ago. It has crept up the list to become my favourite every day shade. I reviewed this recently here and posted some photos, for anybody interested!
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser- £7.99- This primer has changed my beauty regime for the better, The winter weather has really dried my skin out and I was finding that my foundation was flaking off throughout the day. I tried applying this primer before my foundation and it was a complete game-changer! It really does reduce the appearance of pores dramatically and for me it just smoothed over my skin so that my foundation and concealer apply really nicely.
Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Tattoo Cream Gel Eyeshadow in 'Creamy Beige'- £4.99- This shade is the perfect neutral eyelid shade, I love to apply it over my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer and before my eyeshadows and it doesn't budge and doesn't crease. It is supposed to be 'leather effect', which to me just gives it a gorgeous matte texture.
What do you think? What have you been loving this month?
