March Beauty FavouritesSunday, 3 April 2016 12:00
Another month, another set of beauty favourites! This month was a real mixture of new loves and rediscoveries:
L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation- £7.99- This was a new purchase for me this month and one of the best things I've spent my money on recently. I wanted a high street foundation that would give me similar wear and coverage to my Double Wear, so that I could wear it during the week without worrying about the cost of repurchasing. This is so impressive, it has the best matte finish and lasts all day. Review to come soon!
Clinique Chubby Stick for Eyes in 'Bountiful Beige- £17- It's no secret that I love Clinique's Chubby Sticks for lips, so I was excited to try out this one for eyes. Is it a gorgeous creamy shadow stick that glides on smoothly and this shade is a beautiful beige-gold, perfect for wearing as a base for powder shadows. This is a mini sized product I got in a Christmas set.
Benefit POREfessional Face Primer Balm- £24.50- This is again a mini product from a Christmas set. I love this primer, I usually save it for special occasions and nights out, when I want my skin to look really smooth. It does a fab job of hiding pores away and feels nice on the skin. It is a little pricey however, so I'm not sure i'd buy the full size. A great alternative is the Maybelline Baby Skin primer, which is much cheaper but almost as good!
Maybelline Color Tattoo in 'On and On Bronze'- £4.99- I've spoken at lengths about these cream shadows before, but this month I discovered this gorgeous bronze shade. I've had it for a while but rarely used it, favouring the 'Creamy Beige' shade over it, but I find this is the perfect base for slightly more dramatic eyeshadow looks. I love wearing it as a base for a gold smoky eye look!
Benefit Rockateur Blush Box- £23.50- I've had this for a while but recently I've been reaching for it most days. It is a gorgeous rose gold blush, but I love that it has a slight warmth to it that gives you a healthy glow. This box lasts forever too- I've had it for 2 years and have used it a lot, yet there is still so much of it left.
SEVENTEEN Miracle Matte Pressed Powder- £3.99- This is another rediscovery for me recently. It is so impressive for the price- it helps my make-up to stay matte that little bit longer. It is also great for touching up on the go, as it comes with a puff (which is a rarity these days!) and a mirror in the compact.
That's it! What do you think? What have you been loving throughout March?
