Review: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

NYX is one of those brands that I had heard so much about for years before ever trying their products out for myself. When I first started blogging I watched so many YouTubers and distinctly remember almost all of them talking about the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils, particularly the creamy white shade named 'Milk'.
I recently bought one for myself when NYX launched into Boots stores last year and have since bought two more, as they have well and truly earned a special place in this beauty junky's heart!
The NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are quite versatile as they can be used as a base for powder eyeshadow or by themselves as a creamy eyeshadow alternative. They have a buttery texture and are heavily pigmented, which is a huge plus when it comes to applying on your eyelids as it doesn't drag the skin and a little goes a long way.
The shades I have are 'Yogurt', 'French Fries' and 'Iced Mocha'. They are all relatively safe shades on the bronze-gold spectrum, but all are simply beautiful! 'Iced Mocha' was my first purchase- a rich shimmery gold tone that is perfect worn alone or as a crease definer. 'Yogurt' is a little different, with an almost warm rose-gold tone to it. 'French Fries' (how good is that shade name!? A brand after my own heart!) is a deep copper-toned brown that goes great in the crease with either of the other two shades as a base.

Worn alone I have found that they can crease a little, but not too much that would make me not want to wear them this way. Personally I usually wear them as a base to powder eyeshadow as I find they really help to make the powder colours 'pop' and ensure they stay put throughout the day.
At just £5 a pop, there is every excuse to buy one of these! I love them and will definitely be looking to buy more in the future,
Have you tried these? What did you think? What other NYX products would you recommend?

I really like the look of these. Eye pencils have always been a firm favourite of mine just for easy application. These colours are safe but beautiful and very much up my street!
